Regular readers of this blog – and the website – will have doubtless noticed that it has had more than a minor facelift!
In fact, Della – my long suffering wife – has been working on what you can see now for around four months. We hope you like the changes! These were largely made based on feedback from readers about what they would like to see more of.
Some of the differences (without boring you all to death with a list of all the changes – which would take up several irrelevant pages!) are:
The “Galleries” have been restored and updated
Over 100 “Vintage Press Reports” have been added
The new “Magazines & Media” section now also has many articles uploaded
“The Human Touch Blog” is now integrated into the main website
We now have a working “B.P.O.S. online bookshop”
“Investigations” has been expanded
There is now a handy “Radio” Archive
“Events and Talks” both past and present are now easy to access
“Filmed Interviews” & “Documentaries” have now been neatly curated
If you spot any broken links or glitches then please do let us know via the CONTACT FORM – with over 730 blog entries, 110 pages, a dozen or so books not to mention the galleries and vintage news reports this has been a behemoth of a site for poor Della to overhaul. But we are very pleased with the results and hope you all enjoy the new new site.
Oh – and a BIG thank you is due to Lorcan Maguire of Newton Photographic for the use of his stunning photograph of The Egyptian Avenue in Highgate Cemetery for the main banner. You may recognise his photograph from the front cover of Della Farrant’s recently released book Haunted Highgate. That Lorcan sure is getting about!
For now,
David
