An important request here, and thanks to all who read it and act upon it.
Rikki LaCoste is a Canadian musician, Pagan, sound technician, Magician, father, radio presenter, researcher, eco activist and all round great guy. But in May this year he suffered an enormous personal tragedy when his house burnt down, the blaze destroying everything he owned. Rikki has been in temporary accommodation ever since, and is struggling to rebuild his life.
My wife Della and our Canadian friend Zena Hagerty have launched a fundraiser to help Rikki with food and re-housing costs, amongst other ‘luxuries’ such as phone credit so he can communicate with his children.
Zena is a co-host of Nocturnal Frequency Radio, along with Steve Genier and Alex Rondini, and Della and myself as well as Rikki are proud to be part of that online radio community. Zena has produced this video, with the help of her partner Cody Lanktree, to help raise awareness of Rikki’s plight:
